Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Software Engineer – AI Applications & ServiceNow to design, build, deploy, operate, and maintain secure, production-grade applications with AI/ML capabilities in U.S. government cloud environments.

The role covers AI-enabled application engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps, and ServiceNow development, with a remote, full-time position in the United States. U.S. citizenship and public trust/clearance considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience developing AI-enabled or generative AI applications for production use.
• Experience deploying in cloud environments such as FedRAMP and GCC High.
• Experience with ServiceNow development and integrations.
• Strong security, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI-enabled applications.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise apps, databases, APIs, and data sources.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and security controls for GovCloud deployments.
• Design and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST guidelines, and ATO readiness.
