Job summary

VytlOne seeks a Software Engineering Manager to oversee the design and development of software applications, guiding a team of engineers to uphold best practices. This remote-based position within the Continental US includes ownership of vendor relationships and corporate systems initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of software engineering with 1–3 years of supervisory experience, plus strong knowledge of C#, Angular, SQL and Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 1–3 years supervisory experience.
• 5+ years with relational databases and 5+ years with Git or similar source control.
• Experience with Agile methodologies; Scrum Master certification ideal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and development of software applications.
• Direct engineers to follow best practices in development.
• Manage staff and ensure project milestones and budgets are met.
• Lead corporate systems projects and vendor-related initiatives.
• Develop and mentor staff and conduct performance evaluations.
