Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a small, high-impact team within the Pharmacy Services Platform Engineering group. You will mentor engineers, own architecture decisions, and stay hands-on while delivering scalable pharmacy software.

This remote-based role collaborates with Product Management, Pharmacy Operations, and IT Infrastructure across the Continental US. Strong .NET/C#, React/TypeScript, cloud, and DevOps experience are required to guide delivery and

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise software engineering and system design
3+ years leading or managing software engineers
Experience in pharmacy applications or healthcare/interoperability (HL7/FHIR) preferred
Strong background in .NET/C# and API-driven, distributed architectures
Full-stack experience with React/TypeScript and modern web tech
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Hands-on knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD practices
Knowledge of security and integration patterns; ability to deliver on schedule

Responsibilities

Lead 2–4 software engineers within an Agile delivery model
Own technical design, architecture, and implementation of pharmacy applications
Balance hands-on development with team leadership and delivery accountability
Ensure delivery of high-quality, secure, and maintainable software
Reduce technical debt through proactive design and modernization
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues
Partner with Product, Pharmacy Operations, IT Infrastructure to drive roadmap execution
Translate business needs into technical solutions with clear trade-offs
