Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a software development lead for its Enterprise Contact Center Applications portfolio. You will act as a TAO, defining architecture, roadmap, security, and application health while aligning with enterprise standards and business objectives. Remote work is available for US-based candidates.

You will mentor teams, manage technical debt, and influence solution design across platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
• {OR} Completion of a technical training program with a minimum of 6 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in IT or related field with a minimum of 6 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for assigned applications by defining architecture and roadmap.
• Ensure security and health of applications and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Mentor teams through architectural oversight and documentation reviews.
• Partner with stakeholders to guide solution design and manage technical debt and innovation.
