Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain solutions that connect CAD platforms with business intelligence tools while modernizing legacy systems. You will work with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver scalable software assets.

The role emphasizes building SQL database solutions and designing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models, with exposure to Power Automate and Power Apps. Remote opportunity with W2 employment.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–7 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Power BI experience.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0.
• Proficiency in VB.NET or C# and Python.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications and automation scripts integrating with CAD platforms and BI tools.
• Build and support SQL database solutions.
• Design Power BI reports and dashboards based on business needs.
• Create and refine data models in Power BI Desktop using Power Query and DAX.
• Integrate data from SQL Server, Oracle, JSON, and Excel.
• Design and deliver Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Contribute to version upgrades, deployments, and post-release support.
• Migrate legacy Excel VBA solutions to .NET.
• Convert legacy Access databases to SQL Server.
• Ensure software meets validation and configuration management standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.
