Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Software Developer to join our technology team in the United States. This role focuses on building solutions that bridge software, engineering, manufacturing, and business intelligence with CAD platforms like AutoCAD and Zuken E3.

You will design, develop, and support mission-critical applications, modernize legacy systems, and leverage the Microsoft stack to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, or related frameworks).
  • Experience working with relational database management systems (RDBMS), including SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software development best practices.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
  • Experience integrating applications through APIs, SDKs, or web services.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom software applications and automation solutions using the Microsoft .NET platform.
  • Develop integrations and interface solutions for CAD platforms, including AutoCAD and Zuken E3, utilizing SDKs and APIs.
  • Design, optimize, and support SQL Server database solutions to ensure high performance, scalability, and data integrity.
  • Create Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights.
  • Build and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Integrate and transform data from multiple sources, including SQL Server, Oracle, JSON, Excel, and other enterprise systems.
  • Design and develop solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Participate in software deployments, system upgrades, testing, and post-implementation support.
  • Lead modernization initiatives, including migrating Excel VBA applications to modern .NET solutions and transitioning Access databases to SQL Server environments.
  • Ensure compliance with software validation, cybersecurity, configuration management, and development best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technology roadmaps.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
