Job summary

Kelmar KAPS Team is seeking an experienced Software Business Analyst to bridge clients, stakeholders, and development teams. You will capture and validate software requirements, participate in discovery sessions, and support testing and data-driven product improvements.

The role is remote with office options in multiple locations; travel up to 10% may be required. Strong Agile skills and experience with ticketing tools are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Proven experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria within Agile/Scrum.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., YouTrack, Jira) and Agile planning tools.
• Ability to interpret data requirements, business logic, and relational database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients and stakeholders to elicit detailed business requirements via interviews, workshops, and observation.
• Translate requests into structured, testable business problems and document acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with QA to design test plans and validate UAT scenarios.
• Prepare process flows, wireframes, and visuals to aid shared understanding.
• Maintain requirement traceability and ensure clear context in tickets for delivery.
• Communicate requirement changes, risks, and timelines across teams; travel up to 10%.
