Job summary

Kelmar is seeking a Software Business Analyst to bridge clients, stakeholders, and development teams. You will capture and validate software requirements, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and support testing across Agile environments.

You will work remotely with optional office-based collaboration in Rockland, MA; Middleton, MA; or Wilmington, DE, and travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria within Agile/Scrum.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., YouTrack, Jira) and Agile planning tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret data requirements, business logic, and relational database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients and internal stakeholders to elicit detailed requirements.
• Translate requests into structured, testable business problems.
• Collaborate with QA to design and validate test plans and UAT scenarios.
• Support UAT execution and defect triage.
• Facilitate client demonstrations and capture feedback.
