Job summary

Prorec Resource Solutions, LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to join an existing development team. The role is remote, with the candidate residing within a 2-hour radius of Harrisburg, PA, and onsite reporting at contract start/end to inventory Commonwealth equipment.

This role may extend beyond the contract depending on project needs. You will gather requirements, create user stories, support testing, and collaborate with customers and developers under a team lead.

Qualifications

• Experience with requirements gathering.
• Experience supporting software in a Production Environment and handling customer reported issues.
• Experience developing Business Requirements documentation.
• Experience conducting full system testing with overall functionality.
• Experience with Automated Testing practices and software, such as Selenium.
• Strong organization and writing skills.
• Experience participating in Facilitated Workshops for requirements analysis.
• Experience testing or documenting requirements related to accessibility of a software application.
• Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.
• Experience developing Functional requirements - describe what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfill the business requirements.
• Experience developing User (stakeholder) requirements - the needs of the stakeholders will have to be correctly interpreted.
• Experience developing Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements, including performance, scalability, quality of service, security and usability.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, requirements gathering, documentation, and customer support.
• Work with the customer and development team under the direction of a team lead.
• Assist with training, developing user guides or other Business Analyst activities when necessary.
• Create user stories, tasks, and bugs in Azure DevOps Studio, or similar software.
• Communicate clearly and work with users and client as necessary.
