Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a Social Impact & Community Relations Internship that is remote and part-time for the summer. The role supports building relationships with local communities, planning events, and reporting on social impact while gaining hands-on experience in CSR strategy.

The program runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with a 40-hour work week (Mon-Fri). Eligible applicants are currently pursuing a related degree, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and basic Excel

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate in a related field (junior or senior).
• GPA 2.5+.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to complete tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
• Support partnerships with nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
• Track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal/external communications for initiatives.
• Research social issues and community needs to inform programs.
• Assist with grant applications and sponsorship requests.
