Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to help build community ties and advance our social responsibility efforts. You will gain hands-on experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting.

We offer mentored exposure to CSR initiatives, grant support, and collaboration with local nonprofits. This remote internship runs May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027, for up to 40 hours/week, with eligibility restricted to specified states.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergrad degree in a related field with junior or senior standing.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA required.
• No professional experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
• Help track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal and external communications for select initiatives.
• Conduct research on social issues, community needs, and best practices.
• Assist with grant applications, sponsorship requests, and donation tracking.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives.
• Gain experience in community engagement and CSR strategy.
• Develop skills in event planning, stakeholder communication, and impact reporting.
• Understand the role of businesses in driving social change.
