Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a passionate Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to help build relationships with local communities and advance our CSR efforts. You will participate in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting to support meaningful community outcomes.

This remote internship runs May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri. Open to current undergraduates in PR, communications, social work, nonprofit management, or

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a regionally accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA; pursuit of undergrad degree in relevant field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in community outreach planning and event coordination.
• Support partnerships with nonprofits, schools, and civic groups.
• Track and report social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal/external communications for initiatives.
• Participate in research on social issues and best practices.
