Job summary

Huntress Labs is a remote-first cybersecurity company seeking a Security Operations Center Manager to lead a global team of analysts, streamline processes, and scale operations 24/7 across endpoints and identities.

You will define playbooks, drive training programs, and collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Support to advance security capabilities while ensuring alignment with Huntress’ mission and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Security Analyst experience in a global 24x7 security operations center focusing on Windows forensics.
• 3+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or incident response role, preferably within MSSP/MDR.
• Active engagement in the information security community through conferences or public projects.
• Continual learning of threat actor tradecraft, detection techniques, and security operations concepts.
• Ability to identify workflows and create detailed process diagrams and operating procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate highly technical concepts to varied stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading initiatives requiring delegation and accountability.
• Data-driven approach with experience in data science concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enforce internal processes to reduce burnout and increase productivity in the operations center.
• Manage and enforce 24/7 shift coverage to maintain operations year-round.
• Hold weekly 1:1 meetings with analysts to socialize focus initiatives and support career progression.
• Develop and implement analyst training programs for Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Automation.
• Collaborate with Product to prioritize new capabilities to augment analyst capabilities.
• Maintain accountability for routine quality assurance for the designated region.
• Coordinate with Support to streamline workflows for partner/customer SOC analyses.
• Strengthen relationships with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership for SOC analysts and ensure alignment with Huntress mission.
• Provide input to Marketing, Sales, Support, and Product stakeholders.
• Develop, track, and report on Objectives and Key Results for SOC initiatives.
• Help operationalize new technologies and services Huntress brings to market.
• Participate in public speaking engagements in webinars and in-person formats.
