Huntress is a remote-first cybersecurity company founded in 2015, protecting enterprises with a 24/7 SOC. The Security Operations Center team investigates incidents across millions of endpoints worldwide and scales operations with leadership from experienced security professionals.

The Security Operations Manager will define processes, streamline workflows, and train analysts to meet mission goals while coordinating with regional managers for global consistency and strong career growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Security Analyst experience in a 24x7 SOC.
• Experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams across multiple functions.
• Experience in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting and Detection Engineering.
• Strong communication with stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
• Active engagement in the information security community and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enforce internal processes to reduce burnout and increase productivity in a global SOC.
• Manage and enforce 24/7 shift coverage across regions to sustain operations year-round.
• Hold weekly 1:1s to discuss focus initiatives, gather feedback, and support career progression.
• Contribute to analyst training programs to streamline onboarding and skill development.
• Collaborate with Product to prioritize new capabilities that enhance analyst capabilities.
• Maintain quality assurance for the assigned region and its processes.
• Coordinate with Support to optimize workflows for partner/customer requests needing SOC analysis.
• Strengthen relationships with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams.
