Job summary

Huntress is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst to triage, investigate, respond, and remediate intrusions on a daily basis. You’ll work with a remote-first team protecting customers worldwide and advancing your analyst skills, career growth, and threat intel understanding.

With 2+ years in a SOC/DFIR role, you’ll analyze Windows/Linux/MacOS surfaces, MITRE ATT&CK techniques, and perform malware analysis while collaborating across departments and supporting customers globally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a SOC/DFIR role.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as an attack surface.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and basic threat actor tools.
• Knowledge of malware analysis concepts and Windows administration.
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain trusts.
• Solid networking, web technologies, and OWASP basics.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Review telemetry and artifacts to determine root causes and provide remediations.
• Perform malware analysis as part of incident triage.
• Investigate suspicious Microsoft 365 activity and remediation steps.
• Assist escalations from Product Support for threat-related questions.
• Contribute to detection engineering and tuning efforts.
• Work on projects to improve outcomes for analysts and partners.
• Collaborate with a mentored, mission-driven team.
