Job summary

Huntress Labs is a remote-first cybersecurity company hiring a hands-on SOC Analyst. The role focuses on detecting and responding to cybercrime, triaging intrusions, and guiding remediation across the Huntress platform.

You will analyze endpoint telemetry, review logs, and leverage forensic artifacts to uncover intrusion scope while collaborating with Product, Sales, and Engineering to enhance protection and drive customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, Incident Response, MDR, or digital forensics.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, or macOS attack surfaces and malware analysis.
• Familiar with Active Directory, PowerShell, Group Policy and account concepts.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, respond to, and remediate alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Review telemetry, logs, and artifacts to determine root causes and remediation steps.
• Perform dynamic malware analysis to extract IOC and intent.
• Support product and engineering to evolve Huntress’ MDR service and platform.
• Assist sales and customer success with threat-related inquiries and escalations.
