Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center or similar cybersecurity role.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, endpoint security solutions, and network protocols.
• Understanding of common cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Analyze security incidents, identify malicious activities, and initiate appropriate response actions.
• Investigate security breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts.
• Utilize threat intelligence feeds and security tools to proactively identify potential threats.
• Document security events, incidents, and response activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of SOC playbooks and standard operating procedures.
