Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 3–5 years in cybersecurity analysis or SOC.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems and attack vectors.
• Experience with incident response frameworks and procedures.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls to detect and respond to threats.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into security incidents to identify root causes and impact.
• Develop and refine security monitoring rules and detection mechanisms.
• Assist in the development and execution of incident response plans.
• Analyze threat intelligence to stay ahead of risks and vulnerabilities.
• Generate regular reports on security status, incident trends, and remediation efforts.
