Job summary

Dexian is seeking a SOC Analyst / Cybersecurity Help Desk for a remote contract role. The candidate will manage security tickets, support DLP activities, and aid daily security operations in a SOC-like environment.

Qualifications

• Three to four years of cybersecurity experience in a help desk environment.
• Experience working in a SOC or cybersecurity operations environment.
• Hands-on experience with PAM solutions or substantial malware analysis experience.
• Understanding of incident response and security ticket triage.
• Familiarity with malware analysis concepts and investigative techniques.
• Experience supporting DLP programs and enforcing security policies.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve cybersecurity-related service desk and security tickets.
• Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents and alerts.
• Support PAM processes, including access requests and elevations.
• Handle DLP requests (website access approvals, USB access, policy exceptions).
• Investigate suspicious activity and assist with malware analysis.
• Support incident management and escalation processes.
• Assist users with security-related software installations and access issues.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to maintain controls and timely ticket resolution.
• Document findings, procedures, and remediation activities.
