Dexcom is seeking a Staff Cyber Defense Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise cyber defense capabilities. You will independently own solutions across detection, response, hunting, automation, and readiness while mentoring colleagues.

You will lead investigations, drive improvements, and develop telemetry, SOAR, and playbooks with human oversight. This role requires strong SIEM/XDR experience and a proactive security mindset.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical discipline; 8–12 years related experience or Master’s degree with 5–7 years experience or PhD with 2–4 years experience.
• Experience owning cyber defense solutions and leading complex technical initiatives.

Mansioni

• Own engineering solutions across detection, response, hunting, automation, and readiness.
• Lead complex investigations and technical initiatives; mentor junior engineers and analysts.
• Develop telemetry integrations, SOAR workflows, response playbooks, and automated patterns.
