Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Sleep Coach to guide CPAP therapy remotely during the first year of treatment. You’ll educate patients, interpret usage data, and help overcome barriers to adherence with practical strategies.

The role emphasizes independent work while staying connected with the care team, focusing on patient education, insurance requirements, and ongoing support to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with OSA patients preferred.
• Experience with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to patients during CPAP therapy.
• Coach, educate, and encourage patients as they adjust.
• Identify barriers and provide practical tools to improve adherence.
• Review patient data and guide data-driven conversations.
• Educate on equipment, insurance, cleaning, and resupply.
• Maintain HIPAA/compliance and document interactions.
