Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior SLED Storage Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on serving State, Local Government, and Education customers. You will drive sales execution, coach talent, and build executive relationships to grow HPE's storage business.

The role requires substantial enterprise storage sales experience, leadership of quota-bearing teams, and the ability to travel ~40% across the East Coast, with a remote/teleworker work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading high-performing sales teams.
• SLED sales management experience required.
• Travel approximately 40% across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead a geographically dispersed team of Storage Sales Specialists.
• Set clear direction and drive revenue, profitability, pipeline, and quota.
• Build and retain a high-performing team through coaching and development.
• Lead strategic account and territory planning across SLED customers.
• Manage pipeline reviews, forecasting, opportunity strategy, and overall performance.
• Coach on prospecting, new-logo development, and negotiations.
• Engage executive-level customers to understand priorities and position value.
• Support major opportunities and complex sales cycles.
• Collaborate across account teams, presales, channel partners, and marketing.
• Provide competitive insights and learnings to improve strategy.
