Job summary

Qcells USA Corp is seeking a Site Quality Manager to ensure civil, structural, electrical and other construction quality requirements on project sites nationwide. This permanent, full‑time role travels up to 90% and reports to the Regional Quality Manager, with a hybrid schedule between the jobsite and home office.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts and codes, supervising inspectors, driving quality metrics, and coordinating with project teams and owners to achieve compliant turnover

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Quality Management.
• Read/understand construction drawings, specs and exhibits.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work at remote project locations and travel up to 90%.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.
• Ability to influence adherence to policies and instructions.
• Ability to develop and interpret reports on quality outcomes.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Attention to detail with time-conscious work habits.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building experience.
• Travel: up to 90% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance as required by policy and supervision.
• Ensure project quality requirements across civil, structural, electrical disciplines.
• Champion Company safety policies and procedures.
• Review project technical requirements and relevant contracts.
• Oversee inspections planning, auditing, scheduling, and close-outs.
• Review/approve contractor quality programs and ITPs.
• Collaborate to develop and implement the site quality plan (SQP).
• Act as on-site lead for SQP management.
• Review quality activities for compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise and train Quality Inspectors; coach on communication.
• Document work progress for turnover and records retention.
• Track inspections, report quality metrics for management.
• Perform inspections/tests as needed; conduct field audits.
• Implement Responsibility to Act; stop unsafe or non-compliant work.
• Determine need for inspection tools and calibration parameters.
• Liaise with Owner on quality; coordinate walk downs and inspections.
• Track punch lists and provide updates to team.
• Manage nonconformances and ensure timely resolutions.
• Support Standard Work Instructions and process improvements.
• Review commissioning/energization plans and tests.
• Identify problems and lead root-cause analyses.
• Other duties as assigned.
