Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing Simio simulation models and working on simulation projects utilizing Simio
• 3+ years of experience with simulation
• Strong understanding of simulation modeling principles and approaches
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations research, or similar field
• A flexible, collaborative teammate comfortable working in a team oriented, fast paced, virtual environment
• Effective and strong problem-solving skills
• Object oriented programming skills (Java, Python, etc.)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Develop discrete-event and agent-based simulation models to evaluate client operations, processes, and proposed solutions
• Collect, validate, and analyze data while detailing model assumptions and functional specifications based on client needs
• Analyze model outputs and develop practical insights and recommendations
• Work as part of an agile project team to deliver simulation projects
• Present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Provide training and support to the client throughput project delivery
• Contribute to the continued development of SimWell’s simulation practices, tools, and delivery methods
