Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with at least one robotics or physics simulation platform.
• Background in 3D modelling, CAD, or environment design.
• Understanding of physics simulation, including rigid body dynamics, materials, and sensors.
• Strong collaboration skills with scientific and technical stakeholders.
• Careful attention to detail when matching real‑world fidelity.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure 3D assets and environments in simulation platforms.
• Translate real-world objects and instruments into accurate simulations, matching geometry, scale, materials and physics.
• Tune mass, friction, collision properties, and joint dynamics for faithful behavior.
• Collaborate with scientists and subject-matter experts to validate simulated-environment accuracy.
• Troubleshoot differences between simulated and real-world behavior.
