Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC seeks a part-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality video relay and video remote interpreting. You will work under the Communication Center Manager and be responsible for accurate ASL/English interpretation, professional conduct, and customer service excellence.

Applicants should demonstrate fluent ASL and English, pass the interpreting skills assessment, and complete a 40-hour New Hire Training.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpreting skills essential.
• Thorough knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service and video remote interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism toward customers and colleagues.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts; interact respectfully with colleagues and supervisors.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
