Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC Communications is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation via video in a call center and onsite at client locations as needed. Fluent ASL and spoken English are required, with thorough knowledge of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

The role is part-time/flex with benefits, training opportunities, and potential travel. You must be 18+ and able to pass the interpreting skills assessment.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Ability to provide accurate interpretation.
• Good understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective onsite interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality and prepared for shifts; ensure accurate record keeping.
• Participate in company-sponsored training for professional development.
• Travel as needed; access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license when required.
