Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking a part-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation via video, remotely, and on-site at customer locations as needed. The role requires fluent ASL and English, accurate interpreting, and adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

You will support customers with video relay and on-site interpreting, maintain professional conduct, and participate in training while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• 3–5 years interpreting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism.
• Maintain punctuality, preparedness, and accurate record keeping.
• Adapt to new technologies and travel as required.
