Job summary

Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking an Operations Specialist to support Services Opportunities and Projects from opportunity to booking and from order to execution. You will coordinate with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Resource Managers, and other stakeholders to realize customer value.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Project Management, at least four years in project coordination, and strong communication, analytical, and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Project Management or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum four (4) years in project coordination or administration experience.
• Three (3) years of experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience with project setup, contract structure, progress reporting, revenue recognition and billing.
• Leadership skills and proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications with ability to present complex issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% annually.

Responsibilities

• Support Engagement Managers through services lead to order including vetting requirements and pricing alignment.
• Manage vendor processes from quotations through purchase order award.
• Administer planning, budgeting, and documentation for projects.
• Monitor pending project billing and assist with acceptance documentation for billing.
• Review travel billings for adherence to regulations.
• Support budgeting and re-allocation of funds as needed.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to resolve project issues.
• Promote core processes and effective communication within the team.
