Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant (Custom Applications) for a remote USA role. You will design, develop, and support complex ServiceNow custom applications, collaborating with architects, stakeholders, and developers to deliver scalable solutions aligned with platform best practices.
You will design integrations, configure components, and produce thorough technical documentation while adhering to governance and standards, with high emphasis on service catalogue,
Qualifications
- ServiceNow CSA certification is required.
- ServiceNow CSD certification is required.
- Experience building and supporting custom ServiceNow applications.
- Strong hands-on expertise with JavaScript and JSON payloads.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems via REST/SOAP.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support custom ServiceNow applications on the platform.
- Configure and customize components: Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Workspaces.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
- Create scalable, secure, high-performing solutions following platform engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce technical documentation.
