Job summary

Astrica, LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Operations Analyst to maintain and optimize enterprise ServiceNow environments, ensuring platform stability, security, and compliance across multiple instances. You will drive upgrades, provisioning, security hardening, and platform automation in a large-scale environment.

You will collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to continuously improve platform operations, participate in an on-call rotation, and contribute to the strategy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration or platform operations.
• Experience administering multiple instances (Development, Test, UAT, Production).
• Experience performing upgrades, patching, cloning, and provisioning.
• Experience administering MID Servers (installation, migration, upgrades).
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow security (RBAC, user admin, hardening).
• Experience in high-volume production environments with troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of monitoring, health checks, performance tuning, diagnostics.
• Experience with Jira or Agile Hive for Agile development.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release).
• Experience managing ServiceNow plug-ins (governance, lifecycle, docs).
• Experience with Platform Management capabilities and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good documentation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain ServiceNow environments, ensuring stability, security, and compliance.
• Provision, clone, and manage lifecycle of development, test, UAT, and production instances.
• Perform ServiceNow upgrades and patching with minimal business disruption.
• Monitor platform health, analyze performance, troubleshoot, and optimize availability.
• Manage MID Server infrastructure, including installation and upgrades.
• Provide Tier 2/3 incident support and conduct root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotation for platform operations and incidents.
• Execute data sanitization to remove sensitive/classified information.
• Administer platform security, RBAC, user permissions, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage ServiceNow plug-ins with governance and operational readiness.
• Identify automation opportunities and leverage platform management capabilities.
• Coordinate LDAP imports for user provisioning and access control.
• Complete Agile stories in Jira/Agile Hive; manage sprint work items.
• Coordinate changes through Change Management with testing, deployment, rollback.
• Develop and maintain platform documentation and runbooks.
