Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, engineer, and implement enterprise SNOW capabilities for the VA CNS. You will lead SNOW development, build data models, and deliver dashboards for leadership while aligning with ITIL v4 and federal cybersecurity requirements.

The role involves hands-on development, integrations, and automation to modernize CNS operations and improve data governance across nationwide infrastructure. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience on enterprise platforms.
• Experience with ITIL v4 and CMDB concepts is preferred.
• Ability to design, implement, and document SNOW solutions for CNS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions supporting CNS enterprise requirements (ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping).
• Perform hands-on SNOW development using JavaScript, scripting, APIs, and scoped apps.
• Develop and maintain the CNS SNOW Data Model, relationships, and documentation.
• Configure and deploy Incident, Change, Problem, and Configuration workflows.
• Build SNOW integrations via REST, SOAP, MID Server; use IntegrationHub.
• Develop automation with Flow Designer and data-driven workflows.
• Create dashboards, KPIs, and leader-facing reports.
• Provide SNOW documentation, SOPs, and training for VA personnel.
• Support change, incident, and configuration management with advanced workflows.
• Contribute to CNS modernization and platform reliability.
