Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) partners with the Department of Veterans Affairs to modernize the enterprise ServiceNow platform, delivering scalable solutions that improve operational visibility and automate critical workflows across CNS.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade SNOW capabilities, strengthen CMDB accuracy, integrate with monitoring tools, and provide leadership dashboards and training to VA personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience on the ServiceNow platform including ITOM, CMDB, workflows.
• Strong JavaScript and integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions for CNS needs (ITOM, CMDB, Discovery).
• Hands-on SNOW development using JavaScript, scripting, Client Scripts, Business Rules, APIs.
• Develop CNS data model including CI classes, relationships, and documentation.
• Enhance CMDB quality by aligning CI structures with Discovery and ITOM.
• Configure CNS Incident, Change, Problem, and Configuration workflows per ITIL v4.
• Build SNOW integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
• Create dashboards and KPIs; deliver documentation and training for VA staff.
