Job summary

Presidio is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to provide architectural leadership for a Managed Services ServiceNow platform. You will establish technical direction, governance, and roadmaps, guiding integration strategies and cross-domain behavior within a highly integrated environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, mentoring, and ensuring secure, scalable, upgrade-friendly solutions across ITOM, ITSM Pro, and CMDB domains. Remote-based role with travel requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field or military experience.
• 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow including architecture, design, configuration and development.
• 3+ years architecting ServiceNow solutions in a Managed Services/complex multi-customer environment.
• Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience with JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, integrations, APIs, and platform debugging.
• Experience reducing platform customization and promoting out-of-the-box capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the target architecture, standards, and roadmap for the ServiceNow platform in a MSP environment.
• Lead domain separation, data isolation, security, reporting, integrations, and cross-domain behavior.
• Transform a highly customized environment toward maintainable, upgrade-friendly out-of-the-box capabilities.
• Evaluate customizations, assess technical debt, and prioritize remediation by risk and value.
• Provide architectural direction for ITOM Discovery, Event Management, ITSM Pro, and CMDB related areas.
• Define integration standards, APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and secure authentication patterns.
• Guide hands-on development, code reviews, and mentoring for ServiceNow teams.
• Ensure secure development practices, data protection, and proper data separation.
