Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is expanding its service footprint in the Memphis area. This Service Technician role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of compressor systems, with duties including on-site service, documentation, and training at the Air Academy.

The position requires a high school diploma, English fluency, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel including occasional Rock Hill, SC training. A company vehicle and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics is preferred.
• Experience in HVAC a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused and able to meet customer needs.
• Valid driver's license and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Learn advanced topics including VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads and surrounding areas.
• Communicate with customer and Service Manager, present options for repairs or upgrades.
• Complete service-related documentation (reports, forms, etc.).
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with seniors.
