Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Service Technician to service air compressors, dryers, controllers, and related equipment, near Omaha, NE. You will work closely with customers, document service activities, and provide a high level of customer service on site.

The role requires 1-2 years of technical experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a High School Diploma, and a valid driver's license. Travel to customer sites across the Omaha area is expected, with safety training and ongoing skill

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance or electrical fields.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment incl. electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics; HVAC a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and dryers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Absorb higher learning including VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, and remote monitoring.
• Maintain service documentation such as reports, forms and parts returns.
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Technicians.
• Promote safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Provide high level customer service and discuss repair options with customers.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call with travel to customer locations.
