Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive service, troubleshoot and repair, install systems, and support customers in the Jackson, MS area. You will work with the Service Manager and travel to sites as needed.

You will train at the Air Academy, promote safety, and provide high levels of customer service. The role requires 1–2 years in a technical field, EPA certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical/hydraulics/pneumatics) preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; EPA Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and fluent English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures.
• Residency within 30 minutes to 1 hour of the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and related equipment.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Attend training at our Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
• Communicate with customer and Service Manager regarding services and options.
• Complete service-related documentation, start-up forms, warranty forms, and parts returns.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call with travel to customer locations.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use of PPE.
