Job summary

ABB is seeking a Service Sales Business Development Manager based remotely in the United States to grow the ABB EL Services portfolio, including service engineering, hardware solutions, aftermarket parts and ABB Ability Digital Solutions across the Southwestern USA.

You will develop tactical and strategic customer plans, identify and close orders, leverage the ABB Rep Network and various channels, and promote upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions to installed bases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or STEM strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of sales or marketing experience in electrical distribution services.
• Knowledge of electrical power studies, switchgear, circuit breakers and protective relaying.
• Ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
• Collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication.
• Self-starter, energetic and positive contributor to the team environment.
• Proven success in developing new customer volume / trade area.

Responsibilities

• Penetrating into IB, promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions.
• Understanding channel strategy and pricing, and preparing sales plans with recovery plans.
• Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities.
• Acting as marketer/salesperson during campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions and meetings.
