Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a role to oversee the delivery of service projects and Customer Care Agreements within the North American region. You will report to the North American Mining & Material Service Manager and ensure customer requirements and targets are met with excellent service at every stage of orders.

The position is remote in the Western US. Key duties include project risk analysis, contract negotiations, quotes, and coordinating engineering, testing, and subcontractor activities to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing industrial control systems and electrical projects; experience in industrial/utilities markets.
• Experience in management of project scope, cost, financial analysis, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
• Collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Project Management PMP designation is desired.
• Fluent in English; French communication skills are an asset.
• Strong computer skills - SAP or other ERP and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements within the North American region.
• Monitor customer service orders to ensure cost control, resource efficiency and health, safety & environment.
• Analyze and address project risks, and regularly disseminate lessons learned.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers.
• Prepare quotes and implement contract changes based on customer requests.
• Achieve service order deliverables and compliance with contract requirements; coordinate team efforts including engineering, testing, site work and subcontractors.
