Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer information systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of technical support experience in the utility industry or related field.
• Experience with Windows desktop/server and/or Unix, Microsoft Office, SQL Server and/or Oracle, networking, and scripting.
• At least 3 years of Landis+Gyr AMI product knowledge in a service role (Command Center, MDMS, or Integration).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth remote support for technical issues and document solutions in CRM.
• Drive resolution by engaging other departments as needed.
• Gather detailed information before escalating unresolved issues to Tier 2.
• Perform database queries and investigations to support case management.
• Hands-on device management, firmware updates, testing support, and test script execution.
• Respond to inquiries and support customer and project teams with network monitoring and troubleshooting.
