Job summary

Singleton Schreiber, LLP seeks an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join the Wildfire Litigation team. This fast-paced, organized professional will support attorneys in state and federal courts, collaborate with other paralegals and assistants, and adapt to a remote working arrangement within the Pacific Time zone.

The role emphasizes litigation case management, document preparation and court filings, discovery and deposition management, legal research and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in litigation, with a preference for wildfire or mass torts.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation processes, court procedures, and jurisdiction-specific rules in California.
• Proficient in conducting legal research and supporting litigation strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, especially with clients and experts.

Responsibilities

• Litigation Case Management: maintain and update files, track deadlines, manage discovery and trial dates.
• Document Preparation & Court Filings: review pleadings, filings, and oversee e-filing across jurisdictions.
• Discovery & Deposition Management: coordinate with opposing counsel, schedule depositions, review expert reports.
• Legal Research & Compliance: conduct legal research, stay updated on court rules and procedures.
• Trial Preparation & Support: assemble trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and pre-trial materials.
