BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in wildfire litigation for a fully remote position based in California. You will support casework, conduct research, draft pleadings and motions, and collaborate with partners and staff.

You will manage matters, participate in discovery, prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials, and ensure meticulous case documentation while maintaining professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned cases or case components under attorney supervision.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, contracts, and evidence.
• Assist with case strategy development and litigation planning.
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation using firm systems.
• Comply with all ethical, professional, and confidentiality obligations.
