Job summary

829 Studios is seeking a Senior Account Manager, Web to own high‑stakes client relationships and drive complex website initiatives across WordPress, Drupal, and Shopify. You will guide decisions on scope, budget, timelines, and platform capabilities, communicating clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

You will lead strategic conversations, translate complexity into actionable recommendations, and partner closely with PMs, strategists, designers, and developers.

Qualifications

• At least six years of experience in a full-service digital agency.
• Experience managing complex website builds and ongoing support on WordPress, Drupal, and/or Shopify.
• Strong understanding of website strategy and development workflows.
• Excellent executive-level written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and high-risk decisions.
• Experience partnering with PMs, strategists, designers, and developers; able to discuss budgets and scope confidently.

Responsibilities

• Own senior-level client relationships for complex website builds and ongoing support accounts.
• Lead strategic conversations about roadmaps, enhancements, and platform evolution.
• Identify risks early and communicate mitigations to clients and teams.
• Partner with PMs and hybrid PM/Producers to ensure delivery aligns with expectations.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and scope; document decisions and tradeoffs.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
