Job summary

Ondo Finance is hiring a Front-End Engineer to build web applications and APIs across multiple blockchains. You’ll join a small, fast-growing team delivering wallet connections, smart contract interactions, and seamless UX for tokenized investment products.

The role emphasizes high code quality, performance, and staying ahead in Web3 developments, with remote collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience contributing to production codebases in Node.js/React/Javascript (Typescript)
• 1+ year of experience or demonstrated interest in developing decentralized applications (Web3)
• Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones
• Bachelor’s degree or significant coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing needs
• Solid fundamentals in web app, API, and web3 development
• Commitment to best practices across the technology stack
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication
• Interest in crypto — building, investing, yield farming, minting, voting, or related

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for interacting with on and off-chain data
• Integrate and develop web3 libraries and frameworks for blockchain interaction (wallets, contracts, transactions)
• Optimize front-end code for performance with blockchain data retrieval challenges
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into technical specs
• Define and build API endpoints and services for front-end functionality
• Implement external system integrations to support web apps and operations
• Evaluate and integrate third‑party libraries and tools to improve product quality
• Stay updated with Web3 advancements and suggest improvements
• Participate in code reviews and foster ownership and collaboration
