Job summary

PowerGrid Services, LLC is seeking a Corporate Payroll Manager, Union to lead multi-state payroll operations with a focus on union administration. You will manage CBAs, dues, fringe benefits, certified payroll, prevailing wage, and complex wage calculations across business units.

You will partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations and HR to standardize processes, drive compliance, efficiency, and scalability, and support growth and acquisitions in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive payroll experience including leadership on multi-state operations.
• 7+ years administering complex union payrolls with multiple CBAs are required.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paylocity, Foundations, UKG Pro, QuickBooks and MS Dynamics highly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and data analytics capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for multiple business units across states in compliance with federal, state, local and CBAs.
• Administer complex multi-union payroll functions including dues, fringe benefits, pension contributions and certified payroll reporting.
• Ensure compliance with CBAs, wage schedules, work rules, overtime and jurisdictional requirements.
• Oversee payroll tax filings, audits, and reporting (W-2, labor compliance).
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations and HR to standardize policies and drive efficiency.
• Mentor and develop payroll team across locations.
