Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking a Senior Underwriting Manager to lead its Surety team from Texas. You will drive profitability and growth for a regional book, oversee underwriting quality, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding a team of underwriters.

The role demands strategic pricing, policy development, and strong collaboration with producers and staff to achieve regional targets and service standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• MBA or CPCU designation highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of insurance experience.
• 5–7 years of supervisory experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop, grow and profitability for a book of business in an assigned territory or region.
• Manage underwriting, pricing and retention strategies within region.
• Ensure underwriting quality and book management, portfolio management and approvals.
• Make underwriting decisions within authority levels and ensure compliance with state laws.
• Monitor regional results and take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide strategic input on products, guidelines, and system modifications.
• Lead producer meetings, travel to key producers and support agency planning.
• Oversee staff development, set goals and conduct performance reviews.
