Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Business/Accounting/Finance and 5+ years in surety underwriting, plus proven negotiation and development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance is required.
• 5+ years in underwriting roles within the surety industry.
• Strong negotiating, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience developing agency relationships and profitable growth.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting for the assigned territory and approve submissions within delegated authority.
• Develop and maintain relationships with agents, brokers, principals, and indemnitors.
• Drive profitability through portfolio management, pricing, and terms.
• Manage agency relationships and conduct joint sales calls.
