Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting for the assigned regional commercial surety portfolio and approve submissions within authority.
• Develop regional marketing and production plans; visit agencies and build broker relationships.
• Manage portfolio profitability, pricing adequacy, retention, and growth metrics.
• Conduct periodic reviews and oversee agency performance; implement profitability actions.
• Recruit, train, and mentor underwriters; promote underwriting best practices.
• Travel across the territory to maintain relationships and drive business development.
