GitLab is seeking an experienced Sr Manager, Technical Program Management to lead a team of TPMs in our Engineering organization. This is a leadership role within the new R&D PMO, offering an opportunity to shape the future of Program Management at GitLab.

You will align TPMs with high-priority programs, partner with Product and Engineering, mentor teammates, and improve planning cadences. The base salary range for this role in the US is $140,000–$210,000 USD, with worldwide remote eligibility,

Qualifications

• Experience leading a TPM team in an engineering environment.
• Strong ability to align TPM work with product & engineering leadership.
• Track record delivering high-priority programs.
• Experience developing planning cadences and process improvements.
• Ability to coach and mentor TPMs across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers.
• Staffing and resourcing in line with business objectives.
• Define and maintain program management standards.
• Develop long-term strategy for the TPM function.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver programs.
• Identify risks and remove obstacles.
• Set and track KPIs for programs and team members.
• Lead strategic planning with staffing and timelines.
• Uphold GitLab CREDIT values.
