Job summary

GitHub is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional programs within the Security Products organization. You will partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to deliver secure, high-quality software and scalable security capabilities across developer platforms.

Ideal candidates bring extensive program management experience, a track record of shipping complex initiatives, and comfort working in a distributed, remote environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
• 5+ years experience in managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 7+ years of experience in working directly with engineering, product and supporting business teams in launching new products; you are results-oriented and have a track record of shipping and iterating.
• Comfortable working in a 100% remote and globally distributed team and willing to travel as/when needed in support of program goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering leaders, product managers, and stakeholders across GitHub to build and execute comprehensive program plans, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure teams deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Provide clear communication, drive alignment, and help leaders make informed decisions throughout the lifecycle of complex initiatives.
• Collaborate with security engineers, architects, and product leaders to deliver capabilities that help developers build secure, high-quality software by default.
